Back to main page – Cyclades
On this day we explored some villages and visited an Olive Press. The walk started with a loop from Akadami to Moni and finished with a lovely walk to Ano Potamia. Track of walk During our stop in Moni we visited a craft shop with some local embroidery.
On the way to Ano Potamia some of us climbed up to a ruined castle where, despite the wind, we had excellent views. We also passed a rock formation and had fun deciding what to call it. (Vogon from the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is favourite.)
